Privacy Policy

EasyTech Digital Solutions ("we," "us," "our") operates this website to help British Columbia homeowners understand their property assessment, property tax and deferment options. This policy explains what information is collected and how it's handled, in line with BC's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What we collect
Nothing you type into a tool is sent to us. Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. There are no forms to submit, no accounts, and no email list.
The one exception: we log that someone started or finished a check, and which general outcome it fell into (for example, "worth investigating" or "eligible"), with no dollar figures, addresses or answers attached. This tells us whether the tools are being used. These anonymous signals are sent through Google Analytics; see "Cookies and analytics" below.
If you email us, we keep your message and email address only to reply to you.
Affiliate links
Some pages include clearly labelled affiliate links to Canadian financial and insurance services. If you click one, the company you visit may set its own cookies to record that you came from this site, and we may earn a fee if you use their service. We don't receive any personal information about you from them. Their own privacy policy applies once you're on their site.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information (where we're not required to keep it)

If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the BC Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner (oipc.bc.ca).
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand general visitor traffic, including which pages people visit, roughly where from, and how they found the site. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this and may combine this data with information from other sites you've visited, under Google's own privacy policy. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
This site uses Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
